Let’s get into festive mode with lots of music at the Christmas concert in Chapultepec! Take advantage of the weekend to take a spin at this free admission show.
The Coro de Madrigalistas de Bellas Artes, with artistic direction by Carlos Aransay; and the Antiqva Metropoli, with conductor Juan Luis Mátuz, will star in the show Navidad Barroca.
During the concert they will perform pieces by Charpentier, Scheidt, Gutiérrez de Padilla and other composers. The best part is that you will have two opportunities to see this Christmas concert.
The first performance will be on December 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Auditorio Divino Narciso del Claustro de Sor Juana (José María Izazaga 92, Centro Histórico). The second performance will be in Chapultepec.
When will be the Christmas concert in Chapultepec?
This Christmas concert will be held on Sunday, December 14 at 12:00 noon. It will be held at the Pabellón Escénico de Chapultepec (Paseo de la Reforma corner with Calzada Chivatito, Bosque de Chapultepec).
Don’t forget to arrive early to get a good place. Also be sure to bring a hat or cap to protect you from the sun. Admission to the event is free.
Christmas concerts in CDMX
This 2025 there will be several Christmas concerts in the CDMX. For example, El Cantoral will have two very special shows which will be by candlelight. There will be three performances: December 19, 20 and 21. You can get your tickets here. Christmas classics such as “Let it snow!”, “O Holy Night” and “Feliz Navidad”, among many others, will be performed.
On the other hand, the Torre Latino will offer the show Swing Jazz in the Clouds, in which you will also hear many Christmas songs. There will be several performances between December 12 and 13. All of them will start at 8:00 p.m. and cost $350 per person.
