The Chapultepec Forest Festival 2025 is very close! It is an event that seeks to recognize and celebrate different living beings that inhabit our planet. In past editions we saw insects, animals, bats and now it is the turn of fungi.
The date and theme of this year’s edition were announced through their official accounts. We tell you everything we know. Don’t worry about your agenda, because the festival will take place during the Easter vacations.
When will be the Chapultepec Forest Festival 2025?
Save the date! The Forest Festival will be from April 17 to 20, 2025 and will be called Spora. Through videos on social networks, the organizers announced that this year’s theme will be dedicated to the fungi kingdom.
In each of the editions of this festival different activities are organized, including workshops, conferences, concerts and much more; all focused on the theme of the year.
The festival will have 14 venues this year:

- Isleta
- Botanical Garden
- Porrúa
- Chapultepec Zoo
- Los Pinos
- Aztlan
- Papalote
- Environmental Culture Center
- Natural History Museum
- Xochipilli Fountain
- Algo Lake
- Nest of the Nymphs
- National Cinematheque
Among the activities not to be missed are the bioluminescent night picnic, nocturnal activities, the free performance of the Amalia Hernandez Folkloric Ballet in the smaller lake, an immersive experience and stargazing.
Of course, there will be no shortage of monumental figures. Huge mushrooms will be installed in different areas of the Chapultepec Forest. Here is a small sample.
