Get ready for the Chapultepec night picnic at Easter. This edition will be very special because its theme will be the fungi kingdom; it will also be bioluminescent. You will spend an evening full of light, color and fungi.
The first thing you need to know is that this activity is part of the Forest Festival 2025, which this year is called Spora and is focused on the fungi kingdom. You will see fungi everywhere. In the case of the picnic, reference will be made to bioluminescence, a capacity that some beings (such as certain types of fungi) have to generate light.
When will be the night picnic in Chapultepec during Easter Week?
As detailed through the Festival del Bosque 2025 billboard, the Chapultepec night picnic will take place on Saturday, April 19 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It’s right on Easter, so you can take advantage of the vacations to attend.
Admission is free; however, the venue will be announced at a later date. Remember that you can bring food, except alcoholic beverages. Invite your friends or family.
It is worth mentioning that this year the festival will have an immersive experience of the fungi kingdom in the Botanical Garden of Chapultepec Forest, which you can visit every day of the event at different times.
The festival will have plenty of activities including concerts, exhibitions and even giant mushrooms in different parts of the forest.
