Become a Mexican food chef for a day! At the Casa del Risco Museum there will be a workshop where you will test your cooking skills and prepare a delicious chile en nogada.
In this experience you will not only cook the iconic dish. You will also learn more about the history of talavera, especially the one from Puebla.
Let’s remember that this place has an important collection of talavera pieces. The Fuente del Risco fountain in the museum’s courtyard is a ten-meter-high monument!
Made of porcelain, mirrors, shells and talavera tiles, this baroque-style piece is one of the emblematic works of the Casa del Risco.

How much does it cost and what does the chile en nogada workshop at this museum consist of?
After immersing yourself in the world of talavera, you will visit the dining room of the Fabela family. Remember that this mansion belonged to Isidro Fabela and his family.
Now let’s get to the kitchen! Grab your apron because it’s time to prepare chiles en nogada. Although the workshop includes the ingredients, it is necessary that you bring a mask, cutlery, two medium-sized containers with lids and an apron.
The date is next Sunday, August 31, at 12:00 noon.
How much does it cost and how to register?

This activity has a cost of $600 per person. In addition to the ingredients, it includes an on-site tasting.
To participate, you must be over 18 years old and register beforehand via e-mail at contacto@museocasadelrisco.org.mx.
Please note that space is limited to 25 people, so we recommend you reserve your place as soon as possible.
The Casa del Risco Museum is located at Plaza San Jacinto 5 and 15, San Ángel. Enjoy the chiles en nogada season with a very different plan!
