Christmas in Mexico” returns to the CDMX this 2025! The Christmas show of the Ballet Folklorico de Amalia Hernandez will be presented at the Chapultepec Castle for a short season.
In this show, some of Mexico’s Christmas traditions are represented through dance and music. According to the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature, this is the only staging in the world that reflects the Christmas festivities of our country.
Pastorelas, nativity scenes and posadas are the main elements of the ballet, which are mixed with traditional dances from different states.
