1. Zócalo’s Christmas Verbena
The capital’s Zócalo will celebrate Christmas with concerts, book fair, bazaar, artificial snow and monumental pieces made of cardboard. Don’t miss the details of the free events that will take place in this edition. ❄️

3. Palace of Wishes

4. Suavecito Fest

5. Cat Fest

6. Christmas in the Heart

7. Perfume Museum
This museum in Centro Histórico gives us North Pole vibes with a beautiful Christmas village. You’ll see small figures, sets, lights and music. Plus, there are sets where you can take a cute Christmas postcard.

8. Christmas lighting
They’ve already put it up! The Zócalo lighting has all the Christmasmood. The buildings surrounding the Plaza de la Constitución are sporting poinsettias, stars and colorful piñatas. However, the CDMX government has not yet revealed when the official lighting will take place. 😮

9. Christmas at Torre Latino
The emblematic Christmas carols in an incredible jazz concert, that’s what this show will be at the Torre Latino. There will be magical decorations with lights and more. Plus you’ll get to watch the sunset from the heights. 🎷

10. Christmas Barbies
Christmas in Pink is a new exhibition where you can see different Barbies with Christmas outfits and seasonal scenery. Get ready to be amazed by their glamorous outfits. 💄

11. Santa’s Factory
One of the most beautiful Christmas events in CDMX is Santa’s Factory. We are talking about a magical show with music, special effects, costumes and scenery that will transport you to the North Pole. You will be able to see the place where Santa lives with Mrs. Claus! 🎅🏽

13. Christmas Village in GAM
In the municipality of Gustavo A. Madero, a village with free activities was installed. The most awaited attraction is the mega ice rink, although there is also a Ferris wheel, ice slide and carousel. ⛸️

17. Christmas at the aquarium

19. Christmas in Mexico
One of the must-see Christmas events in CDMX is Christmas in Mexico. It is the iconic Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández, where you will see a living nativity scene, the Three Wise Men and even a posada celebration. This 2024 the presentation will be in one of the emblematic precincts of our city: the Chapultepec Castle!

23. Christmas Story Tour
South of CDMX there are also plenty of Christmas events. For example, this walking tour through emblematic streets of Coyoacán. The tour is theatricalized, so characters that seem to have arrived from the North Pole will tell you precious Christmas tales. 📖 You can book through Facebook.

24. Brilla Fest in Puebla
If you can’t find a Christmas event in CDMX, head to Puebla. Atlixco will host the iconic festival of luminous villages. Each edition has a different theme; get your camera ready because we assure you that you won’t stop taking pictures next to Christmas trees. In addition, there are pastorelas, shows, nativity scenes and more.

25. The Nutcracker
The Centro Universitario Cultural will be filled with magic, lights and emotion with the performance of The Nutcracker interpreted by the Philharmonic of the Arts. This Christmas classic, which promises a memorable time, will be presented from December 5 to January 5, 2025.

26. Christmas concerts

27. Christmas Villages
Within the CDMX, and also very close by, there are beautiful illuminated villas. In addition to taking pictures, you can join a series of activities such as workshops, parades, fireworks shows and even visits to enchanted forests. Check the list here.
28. Nutcracker National Auditorium
A few days before Christmas 2024 we will be able to see The Nutcracker at the Auditorio Nacional. The event will star the Orquesta de Teatro de Bellas Artes and the Compañía Nacional de Danza. Every day there will be one performance, except on the weekend, when there will be two.

29. Christmas tours at Jardines de Mexico.

30. Hello Kitty Christmas Café

31. International Fair of the Piñata in Acolman
Are you all ready to celebrate Christmas? If you’re still missing the piñata, we recommend a trip to the State of Mexico, exactly in the municipality of Acolman, which will have its traditional International Piñata Fair.
In addition to the wide variety of piñatas they will sell, they will also offer other activities, such as a carnival and live music.

32. Candlelight The Nutcracker
Candlelight has a Christmas event in CDMX that you will love. The string quartet Pro-M and Dynamoon Danza Sin Límites will perform pieces from The Nutcracker. But that’s not all; you’ll also hear Christmas tunes like “Santa Claus is coming to Town” and “Let it snow”, among many others.
