Who’s that walking around there? It’s… you guessedit! As part ofthe 2026 Children’s Day festival, there will be a concert featuring songs by Cri-Cri at the Zócalo in Mexico City. This show is part of the free Zocalito de las Infancias program , which begins on April 24.
As you probably already know, there will be a big party for kids at the Plancha del Zócalo. A skating rink, zip line, workshops, and an exhibition of dinosaur replicas are just some of the activities that will be available from April 24 to 30.
The musical lineup also features “¡Más Cri-Cri!”. This is a performance featuring legendary songs by Francisco Gabilondo Soler, the Singing Cricket.
This show is presented by the vocal ensemble Voz en Punto, a group specializing in performing various genres: from early music and pieces in indigenous languages to Mexican popular music. On this occasion, the focus will be on the pieces that have shaped the legacy of children’s music in Mexico.
The concert featuring Cri-Cri for Children’s Day will take place this Saturday, April 25, at 4:10 p.m. Let the kids know!
And don’t forget that the headlining concert will be by 31 Minutos, which will take place on Thursday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m.
