Children’s Day will be celebrated over a weekend at the Zócalo in Mexico City with an event featuring various activities, ranging from a skating rink, dinosaurs, hot air balloons, and a zip line to a concert by 31 Minutos. Admission is free.
Children’s Day is just around the corner, and to celebrate, a new edition of the Zocalito de las Infancias will be held. This year’s event will feature recreational, sports, and science-related activities.
When will Children’s Day be celebrated at the Zócalo in Mexico City?
The event will take place from April 24 to 26, 2026. At a press conference, it was announced that, during that weekend, there will be wrestling matches, workshops, zip lines, sports fields, and science labs.
Additionally, a rink “with special technology that simulates ice” will be installed, as well as two hot air balloons. It is worth mentioning that the Natural History Museum will participate in the event with an immersive experience.
In addition, visitors will see dinosaur replicas and even a saber-toothed tiger. As for the 31 Minutos concert, it will take place on Thursday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m. sharp.
