¡Échele mi mariachi! This weekend in CDMX will be full of music, as there will be a mariachi concert in the Zócalo, with the presentation of Majo Aguilar. We bring you the schedule and all the details.
Everything is more than ready for the second Congreso Mundial del Mariachi, an event that seeks to exalt the figure of the mariachi and its music. This 2025 will have several concerts and activities in Mexico City. Some of them are free.
This congress will be held from November 5 to 9. The inauguration will be at the Kiosco Morisco with the presentation of Mariachi Ángeles de Calimaya and Mariachi Continental among others. In addition, from November 5 to 8 there will be a popular verbena with mariachis in the Alameda Sur at 7:00 pm.
On November 7 there will be the second great concert at Aztlan, Feria de Chapultepec at 7:00 p.m.; while the third will take place at the Teatro de la Ciudad. In the latter case, there will be an entrance fee.
When will be the mariachi concert in the Zócalo of CDMX?
This congress will conclude with a massive concert in Mexico City’s Zócalo on Sunday, November 9. In terms of music we will see Mariachi de Pepe Villa, Mariachi Oro de América, Internacional Mariachi Puebla and Mariachi Corona.
Majo Aguilar will also be performing, just as you read it! We are in for a Sunday with lots of traditional music. The event is free and suitable for all ages. The presentation will start at 3:00 pm.
