Music will not be missing this New Year’s Eve 2025! Among the activities of the Christmas festival in the Zócalo there will be free concerts. The program includes different musical genres, such as rock, ska, sonideros, danzón, tropical music and Christmas carols, among many others.
From December 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the Winter Lights Festival will be held in Mexico City’s Zócalo. It will have different activities such as the largest tunnel of light in the country, a monumental nativity scene, Christmas trees, pastorelas and even artificial snow. In addition, there will be a lot of music.
This is what the Christmas festival concerts will be like in the Zocalo
During the Christmas festival, different groups and artists will perform. For example, on December 23, Los Askis, La Coreañera and a sonidero mosaic will perform. On January 2 there will be La Barranca and Los Amantes de Lola; while on December 21 there will be Los Kcomxtles and Cecilia Toussaint.
And that’s not all. Los Cardenales de Nuevo León, Carolina Ross and Sonido Barrio Norte will be on December 22. As for Dr. Cerebro’s Victims, we will see them on December 30.

Of course the Zócalo will be decorated according to the Christmas theme. The decorative lighting was turned on Tuesday, December 16.
