The opening of Line 2 of the Suburban Train, which runs from Buenavista to AIFA, has been confirmed; authorities confirmed that the fare for this route will be part of a one-month promotional offer in celebration of the inauguration.
At a press conference, Banobras Director Jorge Mendoza Sánchez reaffirmed that this Sunday, April 26 , the branch line that will reach the airport in less than 45 minutes will be inaugurated. The train already has a name: Felipe Ángeles.
It was also specified that the Suburban fare will remain the same: $11.50 for short trips and $26.50 for long trips, ranging from 12.9 to 25.59 kilometers.
As we mentioned, for one month the full route (from AIFA to Buenavista) will cost $45, while intermediate sections will cost $11.50. It should be noted that, after this period, fares for this route will be adjusted. Although prices have not yet been specified, it was guaranteed that they will be more affordable compared to other traditional transportation options.
It should be noted that in the future, access will be possible using the MI (Integrated Mobility) card, as well as the Suburbano card.
