The cultural tour of Salón Los Ángeles is back! In this tour you will learn about its history, see the dance floor where great celebrities paraded and you can stay and dance. All in one day.
The Guerrero neighborhood concentrates very important spaces in the history of Mexico City; one of them is this dance center that opened its doors in 1937.
It went from being a coal warehouse to a meeting point for artists, celebrities, pachucos and fans of good music and dance. Carlos Monsiváis, Frida Kahlo and Thalía are some of the personalities who have visited it.
There are infinite stories that this site keeps and next Sunday, August 10, you will be able to know them in a special tour, organized by the National Institute of Anthropology and History.
It is a tour led by historian Arturo Silva Juárez, who will tell you more about the origin of this place, the danzón in Mexico and the dance halls. He will also talk about its relationship with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Angels.
How much does the cultural tour at Salón Los Ángeles cost?

This experience costs $253 per person and starts at 1:45 pm. Please note, only adults can participate.

After the historical tour, you can stay and dance at Salón Los Ángeles. This Sunday will feature Tropical talent, Joselito y su Orquesta, Werever y sus Estrellas and Sonora Venezuela.
The event starts at 5:00 pm and access has an additional cost of $100 per person. Consider that the minimum consumption is $80.
