The works of the American photographer came to the CDMX to create experiences and exhibits that have inspired and surprised viewers. His art reached the San Lazaro Metro station where 26 works by David LaChapelle can be found.
The exhibition is called San Lazaro illuminated and is made up of large-format pieces that can be found in the windows of the B Line.
The works presented allude to the series STATIONS OF THE CROSS or Viacruxis , which is part of the recent exhibition David LaChapelle: Amor amor amor which compiles the most important creations in LaChapelle’s career.
It is worth mentioning that Amor is located at the Palacio de Minería in the Historic Center and presents 89 works, 82 of which are visiting Mexico City for the first time. Admission to view this exhibition is $225, while the David LaChapelle installation at the San Lazaro Metro is free of charge in addition to the admission ticket.
