Among them is the Paseo Calaverita, an incredible ride to celebrate these special dates.
So get your bike ready and bring out your best scary costume because this ride will make you live the Day of the Dead in a different way.
When and where will be the Calaverita Ride?
Get on your bike and put on your helmet because the Calaverita Ride will be on Thursday, October 30 at 8:30 pm and will depart from the Monumento a la Revolución to ride through different parts of the city while you enjoy the night before the Day of the Dead while riding and wearing a costume.
This event is not the same as the night ride organized by the government of the CDMX, it is a ride created by the citizen project Paseo de Todos to remember those who have passed away and celebrate life on two wheels.
The invitation is open to the public, so you can join with your friends or family. The best part? It’s a free event, the only thing you have to bring is a lot of desire to pedal.
You can decorate your bike, make a very creative costume or make an offering on wheels, the important thing in this night tour is to live all the spirit of the Day of the Dead on the bike.
To make the most of this bike ride at night in the CDMX, we suggest you bring safety equipment, such as lights for your bike, reflectors, helmet, as well as ensuring that your transportation is in good condition, with brakes and tires ready to hit the streets.
During the tour, there will be marked lanes to circulate in community and people guiding with instructions along the route so you can enjoy the capital at night in this magical season.
