If you work in a company, you are probably wondering when is the deadline for the payment of profits in 2025. Well, this must be made between April 1 and May 30. Here we will solve other doubts such as: Who has the obligation to comply with the profit? How to report a lack of payment?
People who worked more than 60 days in the year in the same company are entitled to receive profit. This also applies to people on maternity leave, disability, paternity leave, extra-workers and temporary workers.
Note that people who work for individuals must receive their profits between May 1 and June 29.
Is my company obliged to make profit sharing?
All individuals or legal entities with employees must distribute their profits. Those who are not obliged to distribute profits are: newly created companies in their first years of operation, private non-profit institutions, IMSS and public institutions, companies that do not exceed a declared annual income of 300 thousand pesos.
What to do if you do not pay your 2025 profits on the due date
If you do not receive your payment, or you receive it incomplete, you have one year (from the deadline date) to file a claim. If you need to file a report, contact PROFEDET by email (orientacionprofedet@stps.gob.mx) or by calling 800 911 7877 and 800 717 2942.
