Don’t make plans! This weekend the Enchilada Festival 2025 will kick off in Iztapalapa. For a week you can enjoy more than 200 varieties of this dish. Indulge your palate and keep an eye on the details.
Let’s start the patriotic month with a very traditional dish: enchiladas. There will be a great variety of this dish, as more than 20 restaurateurs from Iztapalapa will participate in the festival.
Admission is free; however, the dishes will have a cost. You will have a whole week to visit the event and enjoy all kinds of enchiladas. It will be held at the Macroplaza del Jardín Cuitláhuac, in the Iztapalapa district. Are you going to miss it?
When is the Enchilada Festival 2025 in CDMX?
This enchilada festival in CDMX will take place from August 31 to September 7 and will be the beginning of the activities for national holidays in this Mexico City municipality.
In addition to many unmissable dishes and drinks, there will also be live music. Authorities of the mayor’s office informed that during the festival the group La Tipica will be performing, who will get everyone dancing to the rhythm of salsa.
