Just at the beginning of the weekend, the environmental contingency was activated in the Valley of Mexico. The Megalopolis Environmental Commission (CAMe) explained that a maximum hourly ozone concentration of 159 ppb was registered at the Ajusco station.

Which cars will not circulate on Saturday, April 26 due to the environmental contingency?
Through a press release, the CAMe explained that the cars that will not be able to circulate this Saturday, April 26, between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, are:
- Private cars with verification hologram 2.
- Private cars with verification hologram 1, whose last numerical digit is 2, 4, 6, 8 and 0.
- Private cars with verification hologram 00 and 0, blue sticker, license plate number 9 and 0.
- Cars that do not have a verification hologram, including old cars.
Remember that a contingency is declared when the level of pollutants is high, therefore it is recommended to take some measures in order to protect health, such as:
- Try not to do cultural or civic activities or exercise outdoors, especially between 13:00 and 19:00 hours.
- Do not smoke, especially if you are indoors.
- Try to refuel between 18:00 and 10:00 the following day, as recommended by the authorities.
