This Friday, August 23, the Museo del Objeto del Objeto (MODO) premiered the Exhibition Sinsentido. It is composed of more than 200 everyday and antique objects that will make you rethink the way you perceive reality.
The exhibition addresses Dadaism, Surrealism and Sinsentido. The exhibition, curated by Luis Rodriguez, seeks to make visitors question their perception of reality. The idea is that you can re-imagine and question the world in which we live, as detailed through a newsletter.
What’s in the Sinsentido Exhibition?
The show is made up of 200 items that are currently (or in the past) considered everyday. By taking them out of their usual environment and purpose they give the viewer the opportunity to give them another meaning and open up to new possibilities. In addition, you will also come across some very surreal items.
During your visit you will see antique items and machines that are no longer in use. Their appearance will surprise you and make you wonder how and what they were used for. In this exhibition you will let your imagination fly.
You can visit it from 📅August 23 to January 26, 2025 at MODO (📍Colima 145, Roma Norte). This museum of Mexico City is open from Tuesday to Sunday on a 🕛timetable from 10:00 to 18:00. The 🎟️ticket cost is $60.
Take advantage of this weekend and go see it. You will be one of the first to get to know this new exhibition.
