
Have you already visited the new nopales exhibition in Paseo de la Reforma? “Nopalera en el Corazón” is an outdoor exhibition, which is part of the activities for the 700th anniversary of the founding of Mexico-Tenochtitlan.
This exhibition is composed of 51 sculptures, which were intervened by different artists and collectives. The theme of each nopal is different; however, they all seek to highlight the cultural richness of Mexico.
Everything about the nopal exhibition in Reforma
If you haven’t been able to see it yet, don’t worry because the exhibition will remain for several weeks. You will be able to see it from June 14 to September 30. It is located just around the Glorieta del Ahuehuete, on Paseo de la Reforma.
As you can see you will have more than three months to visit it. It is an open air exhibition, so you can visit it 24 hours a day. You will surely take amazing pictures. Just be prepared in case it rains.
It is worth mentioning that these pieces are not the only ones you will see. It was reported that nopales will be installed in different parts of Mexico City in the near future. Soon a call will be opened for the elaboration of 200 more of these pieces.
The idea is to place them in various areas of CDMX in the framework of the 2026 World Cup, an event in which Mexico will be one of the hosts.
