The International Children’s and Young People’s Book Fair is back and promises to become one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year for families, teachers, young readers and everyone who enjoys the universe of books We tell you all about FILIAZ 2026!
Its second edition will arrive at Aztlán Feria de Chapultepec from March 13 to 22, 2026, an unmissable event to celebrate reading from multiple languages, experiences and ways of creating. And the best part: admission will be completely free.
What awaits you at FILIAZ 2026?
FILIAZ 2026 will not only be a book fair; it is a meeting point where imagination comes to life. In its large publishing exhibition area, children and young people will be able to discover a wide and diverse offer of titles designed for all ages.
From illustrated albums to juvenile novels, science, popular science, and classic and contemporary stories, each aisle is designed to invite exploration and surprise.
One of the great attractions will be the opportunity to meet authors and illustrators who will give book signings, talks and special presentations. The creators will share the magic behind their stories and characters, making each encounter inspire you to read more, imagine more and create more.
The literary experience will be complemented by a vibrant artistic program. FILIAZ will offer cultural performances of theater, music and performing arts, designed to accompany reading from other creative expressions. Each presentation seeks to make the public live the stories not only from the pages, but also from the body, sounds and scene.
In addition, there will be reading workshops, oral narration, interactive exhibitions and playful spaces for visitors to play with words in a creative way.
One of the most anticipated spaces will be the Reading and Storytelling Room, a warm corner where stories will come to life in community. Here, attendees will be able to listen to stories, share emotions and recognize that reading is also a collective act that unites generations.
Let’s hope that this edition will feature the long-awaited promotion of buying a book for a minimum of $100 pesos to obtain a coupon that can be redeemed for unlimited access to Aztlan’s rides and attractions for a day. However, it has not yet been announced for this year.
