After the heat wave we will have a couple of days with cooler temperatures because there is rain forecast in CDMX for this weekend (May 9 to 11).
The Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) detailed that between May 8 and 12 there will be rain in Mexico City, as well as strong winds. If you are planning to go out to celebrate Mother ‘s Day this weekend, take note.

This Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, there will be showers and heavy rains in Mexico City, which may be accompanied by hail and electrical activity.
You are probably wondering: will the heat continue in Mexico City? The National Meteorological Service says that the temperature will drop a little. Here is the daily forecast:
- Saturday, May 10: showers and heavy rains in CDMX. Maximum temperature from 22 to 24 degrees Celsius.
- Sunday, May 11: Chance of showers with showers and a maximum temperature of 21 to 23 degrees Celsius.
For Monday, May 12, no more showers are expected; however, strong wind gusts will continue. Although we will have a rainy weekend, on Tuesday, May 13, the heat will return, as temperatures will reach 30 to 35 degrees Celsius.
In fact, the SGIRPC forecasts that this month will have less precipitation than normal. But don’t worry because, according to forecasts, June’s rainfall will be above average.
