We are days away from a premiere that is causing a furor! Guillermo del Toro‘s new film, Frankenstein, will premiere at the Cineteca Nacional and other unconventional theaters in CDMX, some have tickets for only $40.
What’s in store for you? The film is based on the novel Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. This is the story of a scientist (Victor Frankenstein) who creates a being from the remains of corpses.
The big screen will be filled with the mysticism of this classic, but this time with a talented cast starring actor Jacob Elordi, and the participation of actors and actresses Mia Goth, Oscar Isaac and Christoph Waltz.
Guillermo del Toro’sFrankenstein will be released on November 7 on Netflix. However, it will also hit theaters in Mexico on October 23rd.

As you can see, the $40 admission applies at Museo Universitario del Chopo and Julio Bracho CCU. However, tickets are not yet on sale. Note that the UNAM community has a 50% discount, so the show will cost only 20 pesetas.
It has not been confirmed if Frankenstein will be released in conventional theaters, such as Cinemex and Cinépolis. In the meantime, here are all the locations nationwide where you can see the film.
