We know that the holiday season can come with last minute shopping, rushing and wrapping expenses to give the perfect gift. However, this year the CDMX offers you the opportunity for a limited time to wrap your gifts for free with recycled paper, we tell you!
It sounds too beautiful to be true, but it is! And the best thing is that they will be in different points of the CDMX, so it will be an ideal option for those looking to save money and time, reduce waste and join more responsible practices during this holiday season.
The Ministry of the Environment promotes this initiative with the aim of promoting a sustainable Christmas, inviting citizens to opt for recycled materials instead of buying disposable bags and wrappers.
How will be the dynamics of free gift wrapping in CDMX?
Everything will be done through a network of stands strategically distributed throughout the CDMX. Here, anyone will be able to bring their gifts to be wrapped free of charge. The stands will be available in the following shopping malls:
- Parque Alameda
- Delta Park
- Duraznos Park
- Las Antenas Park
- Lindavista Park
- Tepeyac Park
- Tezontle Park
- Vía Vallejo Park
- Reforma 222
But run! Because you will find them open for a limited time on December 19, 20 and 21, as well as on January 2, 3 and 4, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
This initiative not only makes life easier for those who left the issue of Christmas wrapping to the last minute, but also brings you closer to taking responsible alternative practices.
The use of recycled paper helps to reduce the consumption of resources, reduces waste and encourages conscious habits at a time when the volume of waste increases considerably.
Participating is very simple: just go to the nearest collection point, hand in your gifts and let the staff take care of the rest.
