It’s time to grab your swimsuit and take advantage of the brief respite Tláloc has given us (at least in the mornings and afternoons). During summer vacation, there will be free access to various swimming pools in the GAM (Gustavo A. Madero) district.
The event, called “Verano en Grande en GAM,” was announced on the mayor’s office’s official social media accounts. It began on July 22 and will end on August 28, 2026. It will last throughout the summer break. Remember that the 2026–2027 school year will begin on Monday, August 31.
The swimming pools will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. People of all ages are welcome; however, the event is primarily for children.
