when will the August meteor shower take place?
The rain of perseid stars began last July 17; however, the best day to watch it will be this Monday, August 12. If all goes well and Tlaloc gives us a chance, up to 140 meteors per hour will be visible to the naked eye.
You don’t need a telescope to see it, you just have to be very attentive to the sky. If you can go somewhere without light pollution it will be much better appreciated. It will end on August 24. Make a note of those dates and enjoy the shows that the sky will offer during this month. Let’s hope it doesn’t rain those days, right?
