The World Cup won’t just be experienced in front of the screen. In Mexico City, it will also be experienced through public art with “Ajolotes en el corazón, ” an exhibition of giant axolotl sculptures that will be displayed at various locations throughout Mexico City.
They will be monumental axolotl sculptures created by 100 artists and collectives, turning each piece into a unique work of art. These sculptures will be part of soccer festivals organized in various boroughs, blending culture, sports, and entertainment in a single space.
