On Saturday, September 13, 2025, St. Peter’s Square will host “Grace for the World,” a unique show that will bring together international voices, different cultures and generations united by music.
The performance will be free to those who attend in person and will be streamed live on Disney+, Hulu and ABC News Live. Due to the magnitude of the event, the official setlist remains a secret, but there are clues: previous collaborations between artists, recent releases and songs that are already universal anthems.
“Grace for the World”: a soundtrack of unity.
Pharrell Williams and Andrea Bocelli are the co-directors and executive producers of the concert, while Adam Blackstone, one of the industry’s most renowned producers, is in charge of musical direction. Bocelli has already sung for Pope Francis in 2015 and most recently for Pope Leo XIV. Pharrell, meanwhile, brings the fusion of pop, gospel and high-end production to Vatican Square. Together, they manage to convey the message of love, brotherhood and togetherness that drives the event.
From Karol G to John Legend, Bocelli and more
Colombian superstar Karol G could perform Milagros, a song that connects with hope and resilience, in addition to her duet with Bocelli Vivo por Ella, part of the tenor’s anniversary album. Bocelli himself could move with The Prayer with Jennifer Hudson, an R&B and gospel legend who has already sung at papal events.
On the U.S. side, John Legend is sure to strike a chord with anthems like All of Me and Church, while Pharrell and Voices of Fire – whose new album OPHANIM comes out today – will lift audiences with songs like JOY (Unspeakable) and Miracle Worker. Also sounding strong is Teddy Swims with his hit Lose Control.
Diversity also comes from Asia and Africa. Thai idol BamBam will add a K-Pop touch with songs like Last Parade and riBBon, while Beninese-French artist Angélique Kidjo could rock with anthems like Agolo and We Are One, which mix African rhythms with messages of unity and justice.
