The first thing you should know is that this event will be a great party to celebrate the danzón culture. According to Mexico City’s Ministry of Culture, the event will feature Orquesta Failde, Acerina y su Danzonera and Danzonera La Playa de Gonzalo Varela. So there will be no shortage of rhythm.
What time will be the Gran Baile de Danzón in the Zócalo of CDMX?
This great dance event will start at 2:00 pm; so don’t forget to bring a hat or something to protect you from the sun. The activity is free but you need to register online beforehand.

What other events will there be in the Zócalo during November?
The Zócalo will have several activities, such as an event dedicated to Juan Gabriel. On Saturday, November 8, the first concert that the Divo de Juárez gave at Bellas Artes will be screened. It will start at 8:00 pm and you will hear songs such as “Amor eterno”, “No vale la pena” and “Se me olvidó otra vez”, among many others.
In addition, the month will kick off with the Day of the Dead parade, which will take place this Saturday, November 1. The parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Puerta de los Leones and will end at the Zócalo.
