The Corn and Agrobiodiversity Fair will be this weekend at the Monumento a la Revolución, and one of the most anticipated shows is the Guelaguetza Oaxaqueña, although we anticipate that it is not the only one that will surprise you.
First you should know that this gastronomic event will take place from September 26th to 28th, in order to celebrate the National Corn Day. Of course, a feast of dishes featuring this product, from handmade tortillas to breads and snacks, awaits you.
At the same time, you will enjoy artistic performances, including the presentation of the Oaxacan Guelaguetza by the folkloric group Sierra Juarez. The performance will be on Friday, September 26, at 3:00 p.m.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the chance to attend this presentation, because the fair will feature music and shows of all kinds: cumbia, symphonic acts, theater, son jarocho, mariachi and much more.
For example, the participation of Campeche Show on Friday at 7:00 pm, the dance with Alberto Pedraza on Saturday and the closing with the music of Rayito Colombiano.
There will also be a corn shelling contest, a handmade tortilla contest, an illustration contest and an environmental contest.
