Magic news! After a season in Asia and Europe, the magical universe created by J.K. Rowling will arrive in Mexico City with Harry Potter: Visions of Magic.
The first thing you need to know is that our city will be the first venue in the region to host this magical immersive and interactive experience, and will open its doors in the city on June 20 at
Gran Carpa Santa Fe.
Tickets will be available from May 26th in an exclusive pre-sale for Banamex cardholders, while the general sale will begin on May 27th.
However, very few people know that tickets will be on sale from May 22 and you will only have to join the subscribers list. Here you will be among the first to receive exclusive offers, magical previews, tour news and get early access to ticket sales.
And we already know the official costs! General admission will be $630 pesos plus service charges. However, you will also find a Fast Pass option for $900 pesos plus service charges, which will give you priority access to the Magic World themed environments.
Harry Potter: Visions of Magic will be open from Thursday to Sunday at different times, as the tour will last approximately one hour with no time limit:
- Thursday and Friday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
- Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What will you see in Harry Potter: Visions of Magic?
In this immersive experience you’ll experience eight themed environments, all inspired by the magical universe of Harry Potter. It all begins with a ride on the iconic Night Owl Bus, where you will be transported through the streets of London to the Black family home.
Here you will explore the family tree of this ancestral family and discover the most hidden secrets. You will visit the Hall of Menesters, the Ministry of Magic, the Pensive, Knockturn Alley, and even Newt’s Menagerie, where you will see fantastic creatures in their natural habitats.
Each space combines interactive visual elements and stunning scenery to offer you a unique multi-sensory experience. The best part? You’ll be able to use a magic wand to interact with the scenery to discover hidden details.
How to get there?
The Gran Carpa Santa Fe is located on Vasco de Quiroga Street, in Santa Fe, so getting there without a car might be a bit complicated, but not impossible!
You should know that the bus route 34-A, which leaves from Balderas subway station, can take you there. It will go all the way up Chapultepec Avenue and Constituyentes Avenue until it reaches the Santa Fe Shopping Center. However, your stop will be before you get to Patio Santa Fe.
