It is expected that during these days Mexico City will reach maximum temperatures of up to 32 degrees. In view of this forecast, it is recommended to take measures such as:
- Use sunscreen
- Drink enough fluids to stay hydrated
- Wear light-colored clothing
It is also recommended not to eat outdoors, as food decomposes faster in the heat. In addition, it is important not to expose yourself too much to the outdoors, as the ultraviolet radiation index will be high.
How long will the May heat wave last in CMDX?
According to this agency, the heat wave in CDMX will last at least until Wednesday, May 21. Here is the weather forecast for Mexico City from the National Meteorological Service:
On May 17 and 18 there will be maximum temperatures of up to 32 degrees. The good news is that on both days showers and intervals of showers are expected during the afternoon.
The rainy season officially began on May 15; however, forecasts indicate that during May the CDMX will have less rain than normal; it will be in June when more precipitation will occur.
