
Let’s walk through the third section of Chapultepec with the Serpientes y Escaleras circuit! Along 6 km you will enjoy nature and you can even practice sports or have a picnic.
This circuit was inaugurated in 2024 with the objective of making the third section of the forest more accessible. It currently has trails, bridges that connect various streams in the area and a rain garden.
In addition, during your tour you will also see two viewpoints and an ideal place to have a picnic. The circuit was made suitable for visitors to walk, run or even practice mountain biking. The best thing is that admission is free.
How to get to the circuit Serpientes y Escaleras in Chapultepec
According to the Bosque de Chapultepec website, there are two ways to get to the Serpientes y Escaleras circuit by public transportation:
- The first is by using Route 34 A of the RTP, which goes from Balderas to the Santa Fe Shopping Center. You should get off at the PARCUR/Colegio de Arquitectos station on the Cablebus.
- In fact you can also get there by Cablebus, just get off at that station and walk. Remember that line 3 of this means of transportation goes from Vasco de Quiroga, in Santa Fe, to Complejo Cultural de Los Pinos (a few steps from Metro Constituyentes).
It is worth mentioning that there are also other buses that pass through this station, such as the ones that leave from Observatorio, Chapultepec and Tacubaya to the west of the CDMX.
