If you receive a pension from the IMSS or ISSSTE, take note because the November 2026 payments will arrive on different dates. While some people will be able to access their money as early as October, others will receive their payment during the Day of the Dead.

When will the November 2026 IMSS and ISSSTE pensions be deposited?
The Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) will make the November payment on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
This means that its pensioners will be able to receive the money before the Day of the Dead celebrations.
On the other hand, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has scheduled the payment for Monday, November 2, 2026.
The dates are as follows:
- ISSSTE: Thursday, October 29.
- IMSS: Monday, November 2.
The difference is due to the fact that each institution follows its own schedule. The IMSS typically deposits payments on the first business day of the month, while the ISSSTE usually makes its payments starting at the end of the previous month.
These dates apply to pensions paid directly by the institutions. Those who receive payments through an AFORE or insurance company should check with their institution for specific terms.
Will the year-end bonus also be deposited in November?
In addition to the monthly pension, some retirees will receive a year-end bonus.
In the case of ISSSTE, the first installment is scheduled for the first half of November, although an exact date has not yet been announced.
For the IMSS, those who receive a pension for unemployment in old age or due to old age under the 1973 Law are entitled to a year-end bonus equivalent to one month’s pension payment, excluding additional benefits.
The IMSS has scheduled the pension payment for Monday, November 2, 2026. The Christmas bonus is also paid in November and is usually deposited along with the pension, although the specific date for this year is pending official confirmation.
