The first thing you should know is that the Museum Night in May will have a special edition to be held on Sunday, May 18, and that the Museum of the Inquisition has joined the special events of this Museum Night.
If you haven’t been yet, and you don’t want to miss the special activities this month, this is your chance! For the Night of Museums usually takes place on the last Wednesday of the month.
In this precinct founded in 2015 you will learn about the history of the Inquisition, its origin and the most emblematic characters of this historical event.
It has a museography divided by sections where the procedures and mechanisms that were used to hunt heretics, witches and infidels to Christianity are described.
What is most interesting? The torture devices on display are mostly from a private collection and gathered from the antique markets of Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany and other countries where the Inquisition remained for several centuries.
What will be at the Museum of the Inquisition during the Night of Museums?
You will be able to discover and learn the secrets of the museum through a theatrical tour and show full of mystery and history, only for the bravest!
This tour will take place at 7:00 pm and has a limited capacity of 40 people, with a cost of $280 for adults and $250 for teenagers from 10 years old to 14 years old.

Can you visit the Museum of the Inquisition on another day?
Yes! If you want to visit the museum, but you can’t attend its special tour, don’t worry! You can visit it every day from 10:00 to 18:00 hours.
General admission is $90 pesos. Students, teachers, INAPAM and children from 7 to 13 years old are $65 pesos.
