The most awaited moment of the month is about to begin! Here’s a list of unmissable activities during the Night of Museums August 2025. Get ready for a tour full of art.
1. National Museum of World Cultures
This venue will offer an electronic music concert. It is not a traditional show, but one inspired by Spanish-language writers. Jairo Guerrero of Techxturas Sonoras will be the one who will perform. He considers that the seating capacity is 100 people.

2. Tequila and Mezcal Museum
Did they break your heart? Then be sure to visit this museum, as there will be a cathartic show called Noche de despechados. There will also be a “maguey tasting” and a tour of the museum. You must register in advance if you want to participate in any of the activities; you can do so here.

Chocolate Museum
The MUCHO is going all out for the Noche de Museos in August! There will be a sones concert, metate chocolate workshop, regional flavors chocolate tasting and guided tours. There will also be the opening of the exhibition Mexican Cacao Polyphony IV. To reserve your place, send an email to educacion@mucho.org.mx.

4. Fototaku Fest at the Franz Mayer
This museum night at the Franz is dedicated to photography, manga and anime. So, if you go with cosplay, you will have 2×1 on your tickets to enter the museum. There will also be a cosplay contest and a manga contest, organized by the Frikiplaza.
In addition, there will be guided tours of the World Press Photo and Pierre et Gilles exhibits, as well as a mingling with acclaimed photographer Steve McCurry.

5. Living Museum of Muralism
If you don’t know this museum yet, the Night of Museums in August is the perfect time to do it. In this edition there will be a special tour among murals by Diego Rivera and Alfaro Siqueiros, as well as a musical gala with guitar. Please note that you must register by email (informes_mvm@nube.sep.gob.mx).

6. Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium
Enjoy a night among the stars! This planetarium will have different activities, such as scientific games, workshops and astronomical observation with a telescope. Each activity has a limited capacity, so we recommend you to attend in advance.

7. Diego and Frida: a Universe
This exhibition brings together the most iconic works of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo in a videomapping show. With photographs, animations and audios with the painters’ thoughts, Diego and Frida: a Universe immerses you in their color and artistic world.
For the Night of Museums they will have several performances that will be accompanied with a welcome cocktail. Space is limited, so reserve your ticket early.

8. Mining Palace
The best of The Beatles at the Museum Night in August! This venue will offer a tribute concert to the Liverpool Quartet. This show will be presented by the band Big Beans and will have a capacity for 200 people.

9. Casa Refugio Citlaltépetl
Learn to dance salsa! In this place there will be Cuban salsa classes, tell your dance partner! We recommend you to anticipate your visit, as space is limited to 80 people.

10. Futurama Cultural Center
Everything’s ready for the rock concert at Futurama! The band El Portal will be in charge of taking you back in time with music from the 60s and 70s. Please note that the capacity is 170 people.

11. Yancuic Museum
Dive into the ocean to discover sharks! In this precinct you will take a tour through an incredible exhibition about sharks. There will also be a painting activity and a workshop called Whale Song. Please note that the capacity is for 100 people.

12. Tezozómoc Museum
The kids want to enjoy the last days of vacation! In this museum there will be activities that they will really enjoy, such as a show of scientific experiments and a workshop on pulse and mobility of the body. No registration is required, although we recommend you anticipate your arrival.
