From August 7 to 30, the CDMX will be filled with humor, music, social criticism and sequins with the arrival of the International Cabaret Festival in its 22nd edition.
Under the slogan “No fear of success”, this stage party will bring together 54 companies from Mexico and abroad in more than 20 cultural venues in the city, with free and low-cost performances in many of them.
What to expect from the CDMX 2025 Cabaret Festival?

The festival will take by storm venues as varied as the FAROS, the UTOPÍAS, the Yancuic Museum, the Foro A Poco No, the Sergio Magaña Theater and several venues of the Mexico City Theater System.
All of them will present shows that mix humor with a critical view, questioning the discourses of power and celebrating diversity through laughter and the body.
With more than two decades of history, the Cabaret Festival in CDMX has become a space of artistic resistance where urgent issues are made visible with creativity and joy.
This year, the program includes from musical proposals to irreverent stage productions, designed for diverse audiences.
In addition to the on-site performances, some activities will be extended to other cities such as Oaxaca and Tijuana, maintaining the festival’s itinerant spirit and consolidating its community vocation.
Those who attend will not only enjoy performances, but will also be part of an experience that transforms theater into a space for dialogue, uncomfortable laughter and the beauty of dissidence.
Remember, the performances will take place almost the entire month of August, from 7 to 30, and there will be free and paying performances. You can consult the complete billboard here, don’t miss it!
