If you like the sounds of the saxophone, you can’t miss the jazz concert that will take place during the Night of Museums in July. Organize your agenda and enjoy a cultural evening without spending all your money!
The musical presentation will be led by Musax, a quartet of female saxophonists who perform different pieces through a set of saxophones.
What better setting for this show than the Palacio de Iturbide in the Historic Center. The appointment is at 7:00 p.m., but we recommend you arrive earlier; consider that the capacity is limited to 100 people.
This musical show will be surrounded by the current exhibition of the venue. Miguel Covarrubias: Una Mirada sin Fronteras (Miguel Covarrubias: A Look without Borders).
What is the Miguel Covarrubias exhibition about?

This exhibition exhibits paintings, books, photographs, caricatures and other pieces made by the artist. You will see reflected his artistic development, humor and the anthropological research he did on Mexico and other cultures around the world.
The exhibition will be at the Palacio de Iturbide until September 21, 2025. However, the Museum Night in July is a great opportunity to visit it, as it will add an exquisite musical show to your experience.

When is the July 2025 Museum Night jazz concert?

The event will take place next Wednesday, July 30. Let’s remember that the Night of Museums takes place on the last Wednesday of the month, when several museums in the city prepare a special program and close until late.
For example, in this edition there will be tequila tasting and chocolate workshop in metate at the Chocolate Museum. There will also be guided tours and a workshop to paint a bottle at the Tequila and Mezcal Museum.
