Who said that Gotas de Fuego or El Noa Noa can’t have the energy of drums or electric guitar? That’s exactly what the rock tribute to Juan Gabriel and José José will be like—the headline event that will kick off the FARO de Oriente anniversary celebration!
This cultural venue is pulling out all the stops to commemorate 26 Years of Cultura Viva with its grand anniversary lineup “Oriente en Lucha, “ offering a series of free activities.
The date for this massive concert is Saturday, June 13, when the stage will be rocking from early on with guest bands such as Pani Pain (12:00 p.m. to 12:25 p.m.), Zakyel (12:35 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.), Yucatán A Go-Go with Alas y Raíces (1:10 p.m. to 1:55 p.m.), Master Crooks (2:10 p.m. to 2:55 p.m.), Raíces Rudas Kabuto Man (3:10 p.m. to 4:10 p.m.), and Belafonte Sensacional (4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.).
The highlight will come courtesy of Grupo Morfeo, who will close out the show from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. with the greatest hits of El Divo de Juárez and El Príncipe de la Canción, but in a rock version.
