El Divo de Juárez will always be our eternal love, and this August we remember him more than ever! To commemorate the tenth anniversary of his passing, Correos de México released a postage stamp in honor of Juan Gabriel; the design is inspired by one of his most famous songs.
The Mexican Postal Service pays tribute to one of the greatest performers, composers, and producers in Mexican music with the first issuance of a postage stamp featuring a fragment of *Amor Eterno*. The issuance ceremony will take place this Tuesday, August 11, at 5:00 p.m. at the Palacio Postal.
This stamp features a moving design created by María Fernanda Andrade García. On the stamp sheet, created using a combination of photography and illustration, we see the artist in his youth accompanied by a guitar.
This stamp will have a face value of $7.50 per unit. It should be noted that 300,000 stamps were printed.
