A magical show will light up Las Islas de Ciudad Universitaria this November. During the Night of the Stars 2025 there will be a tribute to scientist Julieta Fierro with luminous magic wands.
Let’s remember that this is a science outreach event that takes place every year with activities such as telescope observation, workshops and lectures.
In this edition there will be a very special moment to remember the trajectory of Julieta Fierro, who passed away last September 19. The tribute will begin at 7:30 pm.
The Astronomy Institute of UNAM, who is organizing the event, is calling attendees to bring a luminous magic wand.
This is to remember one of the scientist’s greatest dreams when she was a little girl: to be a fairy and have a magic wand to solve problems.
In addition to magic wands, there will be 250 drones to pay tribute to Julieta Fierro.
At 8:00 pm there will be a drone show called “Cosmic Dance”: 3D figures will light up the sky! It’s worth noting that this is the first time the event will have such a show, so you’re in for a memorable time.
The Night of the Stars 2025 will take place next Saturday, November 29. The activities are free and the program runs from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Are you missing it?
