Attention star and space lovers! There will be a 100% free night observation to see the alignment of planets at the Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium. We tell you about it.
The news of the moment is that during January and February we will have the opportunity to see the first alignment of planets of 2025 and it will be visible from January 18 to February 28, 2025.
In this astronomical event we will be able to see six planets aligned in the night sky. And part of this spectacle will be visible to the naked eye!
It is important to remember that this alignment is only visual. If we could observe the Solar System from outside, we would see that each planet follows its own orbit around the Sun. So, although they appear to be together in the sky, they are actually together but not aligned.
Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will be positioned in the same region of the sky, so this “alignment of planets” is 100% an optical illusion generated by the orbits of the planets.
