The doors to Harry Potter: Magic at Play have opened! The official Warner Bros. experience arrived in Mexico City so that all fans of the saga can fulfill their dream of being Hogwarts students.
Magic at Play follows the most exciting moments of Harry’s first year: from the avalanche of letters in the Dursley’s house, to the classes and Quidditch practices. All the scenarios are full of interactive moments to play and discover.
We don’t want to give you spoilers of all the secrets, but to give you an idea: you will have to climb up the chimney (as if you had Flu Powder) or avoid the obstacles in the labyrinth of the Forbidden Forest.
For all those who always wanted to take Potions or Charms classes, this is your chance! You will have to practice your “wingardium leviosa” to levitate a feather, identify the right ingredients for a potion or learn how to survive the pixies in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
But it’s not all about classes! Test your skills on the Quidditch pitch: you can take pictures of yourself flying on a broom, test your aim with a quaffle and goal hoops, or see how fast your reflexes are to catch the golden snitch.
One thing that’s cool about the experience is that there are photographers on the tour who can take professional photos of you on the stages. To hire them, add the print or digital photo package when you purchase your tickets here.
You don’t need a prowler’s map: here’s everything you need to know about Magic at Play
It is located at Casa Abierta Monte, next to the Zócalo, and is open every day of the week from 10:00 to 20:00. You can buy your tickets on this page and select the day and time that best suits you.
Of course we recommend you to wear a magical outfit so you can take advantage of all the scenery to take pictures, but it is not mandatory. Or you can always buy something new at the official souvenir store. Of course, wear comfortable shoes so you can play freely.
And if you get hungry, you can also buy snacks and themed drinks at the end of the tour.
