Here’s what you can do on your visit to Cuetzalan
A tour of the town center is a must. One of its main attractions is the Parish Church of San Francisco, a 17th-century building featuring Renaissance architecture.
In the parish square, there is a wooden pole where the Papantla Flying Men perform their dance. This is an iconic spectacle, so we recommend you see it without fail.
As we mentioned, Cuetzalan is a great place to swim in waterfalls. Cola de Caballo, El Salto, and Las Tres Caídas are just a few of them. Although you can visit them on your own, we recommend doing so with a specialized guide; there are options that include transportation from the town center.
