Get your armor ready because an adventure among fairies, orcs and knights is about to begin! The Shire Festival is about to make you travel to medieval times with a lot of themed activities, ideal to enjoy with the whole family.
This event will be full of amazing creatures, art and even folk. Kids and grown-ups will be transported to a land of Vikings and lots of fun. What’s in store for you?
The venue is inspired by a Viking encampment, which will feature fantastic creature shows. For example, the fairy and light show, the hobbit dance and the orc show. There will also be performances of Celtic and folk music.

You’ll be able to interact with the characters, as well as enjoy the aerial dance and juggling performances. And don’t forget your themed costume, as you’ll be able to participate in a contest.
If your doggie attends in costume, he or she will be able to compete in the pet category. Those who participate in any of the contests can win medieval kits and memberships for upcoming events, and when night falls, the magic continues with an outdoor movie and picnic!
Save the date, this themed event will be on August 16 and 17, from 12:00 to 20:00 hours on Saturday and from 11:00 to 18:00 hours on Sunday. The date is at Club Campestre Teotihuacán on the Mexico-Tuxpan Highway, exit km 27, San Martín de las Pirámides.
Will there be food and beverages for sale?
Of course there will be! In this event you will taste many delicacies to eat and drink. You will also find a bazaar of themed products. It will be worth it to give a little pinch to your savings.
How much do tickets for the medieval festival La Comarca cost?

Tickets are on sale now and cost $400 per person. Children under the age of 6 are free. This rate is valid for one day of the event.
It is worth mentioning that there is also the option of camping on site. However, this has an additional cost.
