Attention, princesses and knights! This April 5 and 6 will come the 13th edition of the Medieval Festival of La Marquesa. You will enjoy activities typical of the period, themed food and you can even camp.
Through all its activities this festival will transport you to medieval times. On this occasion there will be special guests. Spain, Germany, Norway, Colombia, Argentina, Scotland and France are some of the countries that will participate in the 2025 edition.
The event will take place this April 5 and 6 at Valle del Silencio, in La Marquesa. Activities will begin at 12:00 on Saturday and at 11:00 on Sunday. The entrance fee is $400 for one day and $850 for both days and camping.
What activities will there be at the Marquesa Medieval Festival?
This year there will be everything. You will witness knight battles, tournament combat, a falconry exhibition, medieval dances, archery and even fire shows. There will even be a nighttime torchlight parade.
But that’s not all, you can also participate in medieval games and even learn more about the weapons of this era. Of course, there will also be a Viking village and Celtic music. This is just a small sample of all the activities that will take place.
As for the camp there will be a specific camping area. You must bring your own tent and everything you need for camping. It is spring and warm season but, in general, the weather in the area is cool at night so take your precautions.
