The world of fantasy will open its doors very close to Mexico City with the arrival of the 11th edition of the Fairies and Witches: Medieval Magic Land Festival, a free event that promises to transport visitors to a world filled with magical creatures, shows, and experiences inspired by the medieval era.
On August 8 and 9, 2026, the Club Hacienda Ojo de Agua in Tecámac will become the setting for an immersive adventure where magic, history, and nature come together in one place. The venue, with more than 400 years of history, will be the gathering place for families, fantasy lovers, and those looking for a unique weekend outing.
Three magical kingdoms to explore
One of the festival’s main attractions will be the opportunity to explore three themed areas: the Kingdom of the Fairies, the Kingdom of the Witches, and the Fortress of the Kings. Each will feature special settings and activities inspired by different fantasy worlds.
Throughout the tour, you’ll encounter sword fights, medieval dances, live music featuring bagpipes and minstrels, as well as impressive fire shows that will recreate the atmosphere of ancient European festivals.
There will be tarot readings, workshops, and elven weddings
In addition to the shows, the festival will feature a themed magical market where you’ll find crafts, accessories, and products inspired by medieval fantasy. There will also be tarot readings, craft workshops, activities related to witchcraft, and unique experiences such as medieval and elven weddings.
