The Alameda de Santa María la Ribera and the Museum of Geology will host the Encounter with the Earth 2025, whose theme this year will be “Extinctions and evolution”. Topics such as dinosaurs, fossils and even the sixth mass extinction will be addressed.
During the event there will be different activities with which you will learn more about geology in a fun way. We bring you all the details.
When will the Earth Encounter 2025 be held at the Alameda de Santa María la Ribera?
This event will be on Sunday, May 18 starting at 10:00 am. There will be at least four stages. On the main stage there will be musical performances, including the presentation of Jurassic Band at 4:20 p.m.; a talk about the sixth mass extinction and more.
The kiosk stage will feature the Big Band Jazz Kids and there will be a theater presentation called “Los Monomanos por la Tierra”. There will also be a folkloric dance. In addition, there will be a mobile planetarium in the Alameda.
As we mentioned, the Geology Museum will also have activities as part of this event. For example, in a talk you will learn more about the extinction of the dinosaurs. Here is the complete program.
