Members of the Alianza de Autotrasportistas Autónomos de la República Mexicana, A.C., announced on social networks the call for a mega march that will paralyze at least five roads in the State of Mexico and the CDMX.
The first thing you should know is that the mega march will take place on February 17 starting at 8:00 am, and its objective is to demand justice for the alleged abuses of the authorities during the “Atarraya” operations.
“This Mega Peaceful March has as its objective the clarification of all the cases in which our comrades were victims of abuses of authority and impunity.We ask the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, for her prompt intervention in this situation that is affecting thousands of Mexican families, the livelihood of their homes depends on these activities,” reads a statement issued by the group of carriers.
Roads affected in the mega march of February 17th 2025
The group of carriers will block five strategic points from where they will march towards the National Palace, in the center of Mexico City.
- Puente de Fierro San Cristobal, towards the Mexico-Pachuca highway.
- Mexico-Queretaro toll booth, at the height of Tepotzotlán.
- Mexico-Cuernavaca toll booth, towards Mexico City.
- Ignacio Zaragoza Highway, from Cabeza de Juarez.
- La Marquesa toll booth, on the Mexico-Toluca highway.
