We’re about to sing (or shout) Hips Don’t Lie in the capital’s Zócalo square. This Sunday, March 1, the Plaza de la Constitución will vibrate along with the most iconic hips in the world.
Extended service on the Mexico City Metro
By the way, do you already know how you’ll get home after the show? Services such as the Metro and Metrobús will have extended hours: Lines 1, 2, and 9 will run until 1:00 a.m. on March 2.
Remember that Line 2 is operating on a temporary route due to maintenance: from Cuatro Caminos to Pino Suárez and from Tasqueña to Xola, in both directions. On Sunday, these routes will remain in place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. From 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., service will be available along the entire route (Tasqueña-Cuatro Caminos).

Keep in mind that the San Antonio Abad, Chabacano, and Viaducto stations will be closed. As an alternative form of transportation, you can use the RTP that runs from Xola to Pino Suárez. The Zócalo/Tenochtitlán station will be closed throughout the day.
