We’re just a few days away from seeing the Big Wolf live! If you’re part of the pack and will be attending Shakira’s concert in the capital’s Zócalo, here are all the details: from Metrobus schedules and transportation options to alternate routes.
I’m sure you’re all set to sing “Women don’t cry anymore, women make money” at the top of your lungs. This Sunday, March 1, Shaki will thrill hundreds of capital residents with her energy and memorable songs such as Antología, Las de la Intuición, and Te felicito.
The show starts at 8:00 p.m., but we recommend arriving early, as fans won’t keep us waiting and will be looking for the best spot to see our Loba. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Plancha del Zócalo, as the concert will be broadcast on giant screens located at different points, such as the Monument to the Revolution and the Alameda Central. Nothing will stop you from rocking that purple wig!
Metrobús service disruptions

Please note that throughout March 1, service on Lines 3, 4, and 7 will be irregular:
- Line 3: Starting at 3:00 p.m., there will be no stops at the Mina, Hidalgo, Juárez, or Balderas stations. This measure will remain in effect until closing time.
- Line 4: There will be no service at most stations throughout the day. There will only be routes from San Lázaro to AICM and from San Lázaro to Pantitlán and Alameda Oriente.
- Line 7: From 3:00 p.m. until closing, stops at the Hidalgo and El Caballito stations will be suspended. Service will operate from Campo Marte to Amajac and from Glorieta Violeta to Indios Verdes.
Extended Metrobus hours: a good alternative after Shakira’s concert
When Shakira’s concert is over, you can return home on the Metrobus, which will have extended hours on Lines 1 and 7.
Service will operate as usual throughout the day; however, starting at midnight, buses will run approximately every 15 minutes. The last Metrobus will leave the El Caminero, Indios Verdes, and Glorieta Violeta stations at 1:00 a.m.
Alternative routes

Traffic will be affected on the streets surrounding the Plancha del Zócalo. Some of the alternatives are:
- Av. de los Insurgentes,
- Chapultepec Avenue,
- Dr. Claudio Bernard,
- Lorenzo Boturini,
- Eje 1 Oriente and
- Eje 1 Norte.
Now that you know the Metrobus schedules, alternate routes, and locations of giant screens, nothing will stop you from enjoying Shakira’s concert in Mexico City’s Zócalo. Get in wolf mode and activate your desire to cash in like Shaki.
